Privacy Policy

Last updated: 8 July 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Ninety Plus ("we", "us", "our", the "App") collects, uses, and protects your information when you use our mobile application on iOS and Android. By using Ninety Plus, you agree to the practices described in this policy.

1. Who we are

Ninety Plus is a football companion app that provides live scores, league tables, team and player information, and a weekly prediction game. The App is available on the Apple App Store and Google Play.

For any privacy questions you can contact us at the email listed in the "Contact us" section below.

2. Information we collect

Account information: when you create an account we collect your email address and a display name. If you sign in with a third-party provider (such as Google or Apple), we receive the basic profile information that provider shares with us.

Profile content: an optional profile picture and preferences such as your favourite team, selected language and theme.

Prediction and gameplay data: the predictions you make, your points and your position on leaderboards.

Device and technical data: a device token for push notifications, app version, device model and operating system, and basic diagnostic information used to keep the App stable.

Usage data: anonymous, aggregated information about how features are used, collected to improve the App.

3. How we use your information

To create and manage your account and authenticate you.

To provide core features — live scores, standings, your club, and the weekly prediction game and leaderboards.

To send push notifications you opt into, such as kick-off reminders, prediction deadlines and results.

To maintain security, prevent fraud or abuse, and keep the App reliable.

To understand and improve how the App is used and to develop new features.

4. Third-party services

We rely on trusted third-party services to operate the App. These providers process data on our behalf under their own privacy and security terms:

Google Firebase (Authentication, Cloud Firestore, Cloud Storage, Cloud Functions and Cloud Messaging) — provided by Google, used for accounts, data storage and push notifications.

API-Football — used to source live match data, fixtures, lineups and statistics. This is football data and does not involve your personal information.

App store platforms (Apple App Store and Google Play) for distribution and, where applicable, in-app functionality.

We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

5. Push notifications

With your permission, we send push notifications through Firebase Cloud Messaging. You can disable notifications at any time in your device settings or within the App. Disabling notifications does not affect your ability to use other features.

6. Data retention

We keep your account and gameplay data for as long as your account remains active. If you delete your account, we remove your personal data from our active systems, except where we must retain limited information to comply with legal obligations or resolve disputes.

Anonymous, aggregated analytics that can no longer identify you may be retained to improve the App.

7. Deleting your account and data

You can request deletion of your account and associated personal data at any time from within the App (Profile → account settings) or by emailing us at the address in the "Contact us" section. We will process verified requests within a reasonable period as required by applicable law.

8. Children's privacy

Ninety Plus is not directed at children under the age of 13 (or the minimum age required in your country). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will delete it.

9. Data security

We use industry-standard measures, including encrypted connections and access controls provided by our infrastructure providers, to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to safeguard your data and limit access to it.

10. International transfers

Our infrastructure is primarily hosted in the European Union (europe-west1). Where data is processed in other regions by our service providers, appropriate safeguards are applied in line with applicable data-protection laws.

11. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, export or delete your personal data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise these rights, contact us using the details below. You may also withdraw consent for notifications at any time.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, notify you in the App. Continued use of the App after changes take effect means you accept the updated policy.
